OpenMPT 1.25.03.00 released

The latest version of OpenMPT has been released today.
This is another update for OpenMPT 1.25 with more bugfixes, improvements and also some new features. These are the noteworthy improvements and changes in OpenMPT 1.25.03.00:

  • Allow to change between sharp and flat accidentals in Display settings.
  • Forward / backward mouse buttons can be used to switch to next / previous order, sample and instrument in the pattern, sample and instrument editors.
  • Silence tool now works the same way for stereo samples as it does for mono samples.
  • Time stretch and pitch shift are now abortable.
  • When trying to load a module into a sample or instrument slot, open it directly in the tree view for importing samples.
  • Option in sample map context menu to remove all sample associations.
  • Nicer envelope drawing at higher zoom levels.
  • Show sample numbers in Sample Map editor.
  • Previewing several notes at once in the instrument editor was broken for XM modules.
  • Allow the user to enter plugin-specific tags in the plugin selection dialog. The name filter now searches for both plugin names and tags.
  • Plugin editor minimizing should now also work with Wine. As a consequence, minimizing now only works through double-clicking, there are no minimize / maximize buttons any more.
  • Improved plugin bridge performance.
  • MOD, MT2 and MED playback fixes.
  • Added ReplayGain write-out for exported MP3 files.
  • No longer crash in 64-bit builds when trying to append a module.

For a complete list of changes, have a look at the release notes and the full version history.
libopenmpt has been updated as well with the same playback and module loader fixes.

By the way, we are still looking for new example songs to ship with the tracker. If you are interested, grab the samples found in the installation directory under ExampleSongs\Samples and use them to create a song, following the rules from the example song compo!
