OpenMPT 1.20.04.00 released
Posted on 27 October, 2012 - 19:11 by Saga Musix
The latest version of OpenMPT has been released today.
This is mostly a bugfix release to address some issues found in OpenMPT 1.20.03.00, but also brings some new features:
- In the treeview, it is now possible to rearrange (drag and drop), insert and duplicate (through the context menu) samples and instruments. Update: This is buggy, don't use it for now! (the issue has been fixed in OpenMPT 1.21)
- In the pattern editor, it is now possible to transpose selections by arbitrary amounts.
- Improved scroll wheel across numeric edit boxes.
- Fixed a few crashes when loading WAV or XI samples.
- ITP files saved with OpenMPT 1.20.03.00 were corrupted. The ITP saving code has been fixed.
For a complete list of changes, have a look at the release notes and the full version history.

Ability to duplicate samples.
Ability to duplicate samples... My life just became a lot easier!
Re: Ability to duplicate samples.
The only new addition is that you can duplicate samples and instruments through the treeview. Your life could have been much easier before this release already if you read the manual and found out that shift-clicking the "New Sample" / "New Instrument" buttons would duplicate the current sample or instrument! ;)
woah
woah man, no need to harsh the guy, sheesh.
Harsh?
Since when is it harsh to tell someone about an existing feature?
Agree
Looks like he might appreciate the information.
I think you read wrong
It was not meant to be harsh, just informative. I think you interpreted it wrong.
